This project examines how the European Union responds to emergencies (health, migration, climate crises) and the political and constitutional implications of these responses. Coordinated by the Institute for European Studies (UCLouvain), it questions whether such crises strengthen or weaken European solidarity and democratic foundations. Building upon the work of the EUNMUTE Centre of Excellence, EUMERGENCIES focuses on EU emergency management research.
